2008 International Conference on Ginseng
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
2008 International Conference on Ginseng-ICG will be held in Changchun, Jilin Province of China from September 1st to 3rd, 2008.
Ginseng, a traditional Chinese herb, has been used as a therapeutic drug for more than two thousands years. Jilin is a well-known area for ginseng cultivation and processing in China. Therefore, we decided to choose this place to hold the International Conference on Ginseng.
On behalf of Chinese Pharmacological Society and Gov
ernment of Jilin province, we invite you to this conference to review the latest development ranging from chemistry, pharmacology, clinical therapeutics, cultivation and processing of ginseng.
The Academic Committee will put together a series of exciting lectures. New progress in scientific research and production of about ginseng will be well presented.

Call for Abstracts
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS: June 25, 2008
Participants are requested to submit an abstract to the Secretariat together with the registration form. Abstracts will be reviewed and assigned to appropriate sessions. Authors will be notified regarding abstract acceptance. Accepted abstracts will be printed in the “Proceeding of International conference of Ginseng”, which will be distributed at the Conference.
METHOD OF SUBMISSION
Abstracts and Registration Form should be submitted via the E-mail with an attachment at the same time to: ginseng2008@126.com
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION

The abstract should be as informative as possible:

state specific object of study b) state method used, if pertinent
c) summarize results obtained d) state conclusions reached

Standard abbreviations may be used. 3. Abstracts should be submitted in good English.
4. Abstract length should not exceed 350 words.
AWARDING
If the participant (younger than 40 years old) provides a complete paper, their papers will be chosen as excellent papers through experts’ group appraisal. On the close banquet, Academic Committee will issue the award for excellent paper of young researchers.
